Knitted triangular shawl / Kötött háromszög kendő

I knitted this shawl back in March as a surprise for my Mom, but i didn't have the opportunity to take photos of it until recently. It is made of an about 25-year old, full acrylic yarn from the family yarn treasury, part of it already unravelled once, which means that my fingers worked on the very same yarn as my mother's when i was still a kid. Isn't that a generation continuity? :)
I chose a simple triangular design by Caroline Wiens (Light and Up) which was indeed an easy and relaxing pattern. You don't really need to count or perform any difficult stitches. Ideal for me!
Although it's acrylic, i tried hard to block it. I believe in miracles... even if they didn't work so well this time!

Meglepetés kendő Anyunak, ami még márciusban készült - de csak mostanában volt alkalmam lefotózni. Régi, majd' 25 éves akril fonalból készült, ráadásul részben bontott anyagból. Vagyis tulajdonképpen ugyanazzal a fonallal is dolgoztam, amivel Anyu is gyerekkoromban. Ez ám a generációs kontinuitás! :)
A minta Caroline Wiensé (Light and Up néven), egy igazán könnyű, kikapcsolós, nem számolgatós darab. Nekem való... Becsülettel blokkoltam is az akrilt, mert én hiszek a csodákban. Még ha most nem is igazán működtek!
